AMPLIFY is our flagship program and the biggest event of the year! Girls and women with disabilities, ages 5+, step into the spotlight to build confidence, celebrate who they are, and strengthen their self-advocacy skills.
Through three skill areas Interview, Passion Presentation, and Introduction participants have the opportunity to share their stories, showcase what they love, and let their personalities shine.
Throughout the day, each participant has a Miss Amazing Buddy by her side, gets time to rehearse and prepare for the stage, and enjoys a little extra pampering with hair and makeup.
The day comes together during our Final Show, where every participant takes the stage, is celebrated with awards, and gets her moment to shine. We’ll also announce our Michigan Miss Amazing Queens for the upcoming year, who will go on to represent our program and continue spreading the mission of Miss Amazing!

This year, we chose a theme for our AMPLIFY event. Our 2027 AMPLIFY event will be “Dream Without Limits” We are excited to change things up this year!!!
Who Can Participate?
Girls and women ages 5 and older who have an IEP, IPP, 504 plan, SSI, or a physician’s document proving disability are eligible to participate in Miss Amazing
Volunteer Opportunities
Be a Buddy: Are you an attentive and supportive friend? Then you would make a perfect Miss Amazing Buddy! As a Buddy, you’ll guide a participant in Miss Amazing’s AMPLIFY program, serving as her friend and ally throughout the event. Buddies must be at least 13 years old and available for the entirety of the event.
Lend a Helping Hand: Miss Amazing events are brought to life by talented volunteers that help out behind-the- scenes. Tell us about your interests and strengths in the application, and we’ll find the perfect spot for you on our team.
Be a Right-Hand Man: Calling all helpful and supportive gentlemen! Right-hand Men are responsible for escorting participants in the AMPLIFY program onstage to receive their awards during the final show. This position is a perfect fit for boys and men with and without disabilities.
